How do I get access to the villa?I will send you a security code that will enable you to open the lockbox by the front door which has a key inside. Extra keys are held in the house. You will NOT have to go to another location to get a map and a key! Back to TopWhy is there a black cage around the pool? The cage is to keep insects out but let the sunlight in. Back to TopCan you provide a welcome pack?Absolutely. We can arrange a variety of items (tea, coffee, milk, nappies/diapers etc) to be in the home when you arrive for a small fee. Just email us with your request. Back to TopWhat don't you provide? The villa is fully equipped including towels, toilet paper, soap etc. Bring a toothbrush and some toothpaste and you are all set. You will need to buy some food and drink but Winn-Dixie is only 600 yards away.... Back to TopDo you provide life vests for children?Due to legal restrictions we are not able to do this however Wal-Mart is 600 yards away and sells a wide range of floatation aids for children and adults. Back to TopAre there any restrictions on playing golf at Southern Dunes? It is a public course (despite being Championship standard) so as long as tee times are available you can play. It is worth booking a times a few days in advance to make sure you can play at the right time. The practice facilities are excellent - a grass driving range (with decent balls), several putting and chipping greens and practice pitching and bunker areas. If you just want to practice, buy a bucket of balls and spend some time working on all aspects of your game. The staff are helpful and friendly and offer a good standard of lessons. SD often offer twilight rates and 36 hole rates and despite the championship course rating offer reasonable green fees to all visitors. We are reasonable golfers (5 handicap up to 26) and have a great time as the course is interesting but with several tee positions you can make it as hard or easy as you like. Ladies tees are way forward - men be warned!. Back to TopHow do I get cheap park tickets?Basically, you can: 1) Spend several hours with your family looking at timeshares to get a free ticket 2) Buy second hand tickets from a variety of sources (not recommended - there are many stories of people buying these tickets only to find Disney etc do not accept them at the gate or they are damaged in some way) 3) Buy from a reputable, authorised source such as this
organisation
Failing this you can sometimes get a small discount direct from the theme park websites, otherwise you will end up paying at the gate and full prices. Disney offer "park hopper" and "park hopper plus" tickets - 5 - 7 days of unlimited park access (never expires) plus "options" (eg water parks) for the "plus" ticket. This is the best deal especially if you buy them at a discount via the button above - especially if you plan to return to Disney sometime in the future... Sea World offers 2 days for the price of one at some times during the year (December at least) Universal are currently (Dec 07) offering a new deal for both parks at Costco and tend to have 2 parks for the price of 1 specials There is also an Orlando Hopper pass that offers Sea World, Universal and Busch Gardens at a slightly discounted rate Yes you can! There is an iPOD dock built into the desklamp and you can play iPOD video through the sitting room tv (even if it is a UK iPOD!). Just remember to bring your iPOD to Red/White/Yellow cable! Instructions on how to set it up are in the white folder in our home. Back to Top
